Inovan – Exitbitor at FastenerExpo 2017

The FastenerExpo in Shanghai is the largest fair for Fasteners in China, hold this year from June 22 to 23, 2017 in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. (42.000 qm, 702 exhibitors and 25.625 visitors of which1.894 were international visitors) The most exhibitors were from China and Taiwan and they are manufacturers from Fasteners and fastener machines. The most visitors came from China and from several industrial branches.

 

This was the first participation for INOVAN (Tianjin) Contact Technology Co., Ltd. in this fair. The focus was on all products of the Fastener Technology produced at the Inovan Stolberg plant in Germany and sold in parts of Asia from Inovan Tianjin China. The range of products includes coiled spring pins, slotted pins and tubular products and also the product range of Inovan Birkenfeld (contact technology, materials, surface technology etc.).

The fair was a perfect platform to present Inovan and their products to a wide professional audience particularly from the fields of purchasing and development. The rapidly growing China market is a perfect development market for Inovan Tianjin plant. We therefore took the chance at this fair to present coiled spring pins from our new machine generation.

The special provided company imagefilm from INOVAN (Tianjin) Contact Technology Co., Ltd. was a highlight for the visitors and customers and gave a perfect inside view of our commitment in the China sales market.

During the 3 exhausting days of the fair we got in contact with a lot of new customers and also existing customers. This was a really successful fair and we would like to thank all our visitors!

Renovation of our site in Zliv

We are proud to share an update on the ongoing reconstruction of our INOVAN site in Zliv. The project started in summer 2025, is structured in several phases, and is progressing according to plan with completion scheduled for the end of May 2026.

The reconstruction is an important step in preparing our site for the requirements of modern automotive manufacturing. Within the production area, we are building a new tool shop as well as new administrative spaces. A new entrance to the production area, including a reception zone, will further improve accessibility and workflows.
We are also investing significantly in quality, efficiency, and infrastructure. This includes new heating, ventilation, and compressed air systems, as well as new measuring rooms to ensure our high quality standards are consistently met.

Sustainability and safety are key priorities of this project. In line with our ESG goals, smart lighting is being implemented in the production hall and connected areas. In addition, the administrative offices on the second floor are being modernized, and new fire protection measures are being introduced throughout the entire plant.

This reconstruction marks an important milestone for the future development of our Zliv site and reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and responsible growth. A big thank you to everyone involved in driving this project forward.

Plant 5 Changzhou

 

Introducing:
INOVAN (Changzhou) Contact Technology Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Inovan Division of the Prym Group. The company was founded in June 2019 and is based in the Changzhou Wujin Hi-Tech Zone. We currently employ around 70 people, and our factory and office buildings cover an area of around 6,000 square meters.

In line with the company's growth strategy, Inovan has relocated from Tianjin to Changzhou to be closer to the economic core of its customers, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Inovan passes on its competitive punching technology to provide customers with the highest quality products and to meet the high quality requirements of both domestic and international customers.
